Athletes of the Meet - Alumni

Kyle Mills - improved his time by 46 seconds from a year ago to help lead the Irish against the vaunted alumni team. Kyle had a great summer of training and is clearly in a higher level of fitness than last season.

Emily Davis - finished 2:27 seconds better than this time last year. Emily showed steady improvement throughout the season last year and is off to a good start this year.

Athletes of the Meet - Irish Invite

Timothy Sampers - won his first high school race with his victory in the C division. Timothy led a 1-2 Irish sweep as Rosemount missed a perfect score by six points.

Jonathan Sampers - raced to a top 10 finish in his varsity meet. He dropped 26 seconds from his alumni time.

Abbie Bauernfeind - saved the best for last. Her senior season is off to a strong start w/ a nearly sub 14:00 performance. Abbie dropped 1:20 from the alumni meet and 2:13 from her first effort on this course as a freshman.

Taylor Rambo - competed in her first high school meet and nearly made the top 10 with an 11th place finish in the C race. Taylor competed for RMS last year and has already demonstrated significant improvement from last year.

Athletes of the Meet - Lakeville "Apple Jack" Invite

Abbey Knoop - charged the last 800 meters to earn a spot at the Roy Griak Invitational. Her time of 17:28 nearly put herself in the top 7 for the Irish.

Trevor Capra - broke up Edina’s sweep in the JV race with his very even split run time of 17:21. Trevor earned his way to compete at the Roy Griak Invitational, his varsity meet.

Ashley Comstock - recorded the best junior time by a Rosemount girl on the Aronson Park course. Her 15:39 topped Gopher All-American Heather Dorniden’s 15:44 in 2003.

Nathan Rock - recorded the best sophomore time by a Rosemount boy on the Aronson Park course. His time of 16:20 topped Tim Kojetin (Drake University) and Jordan Carlson (Notre Dame) by over 20 seconds.

Athletes of the Meet - Eagle Invite / Roy Griak Invite

Shane McCallum - broke 17:00 minutes on the rugged Les Bolstad course at the University of Minnesota to lead the Irish to a top 15 performance amongst 23 ranked teams from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and the Dakotas.

Ben Dolan - led a strong contingent in the Eagle Invitational at Apple Valley with a top 10 effort in the JV division.

Laura Dennis - had her first scoring race for the Irish as Rosemount nearly repeated their win in the Maroon Division of the Roy Griak Invitational.

Taybri Irving - continues to show signs of things to come with a solid effort at the Eagle Invitational at Apple Valley.

Athletes of the Meet - Ev Berg Invite

John Evenocheck - continued his steady improvement the last month with his first sub 17:45 performance at Owatonna. The Irish had just 20 points in the JV race.

Cameron Knotz - placed third at the Ev Berg Invitational JV race with another strong performance. Cameron has shown steady improvement in his first season of cross country.

Chloe Schurb - broke 17:00 minutes for the first time in her career as the JV team nearly won the Ev Berg title. Through steady training, Chloe dropped over four minutes from her time last year.

Hannah Grim - placed third leading the Irish to the Ev Berg varsity team title. The Irish won their first Ev Berg title ever.

Athletes of the Meet - Lake Conference Championships

Tori Grund - is a model of consistency this season. She continued that again by earning all-conference honors for the second year in a row.

Kaitlyn Kleiber - is in her first year of cross country after a spring of being a sprinter. She showed her versatility with another strong performance at the Lake meet. Her improvement since the Alumni meet shows the power of consistent training.

Elliot Bell - bounced back from illness and delivered a gutty effort in the Lake JV meet as the fourth man. He held off a large pack in the stretch to secure a top three finish for the team.

Ryan Gould - bounced back from illness and delivered a gutty effort in the Lake JV meet as the fifth man. He picked off many competitors in the final 800 meters to secure a top three finish for the team.

Cogratulations to the Girls Varsity Team on the 2nd place finish at the Section 3AA meet. They're now off to the State Meet at St. Olaf College on the morning of Saturday November 7th.
