Head Coach Chris Harder
-Chris Harder is in his 14th season (2010) as head coach of the Irish cross country program. He is also the boys distance coach in the spring, where the Irish finished as State AAA True Team runner-up in 2010. Harder is USATF Level II certified in the endurance and sprint/hurdles events.
-Harder competed in cross country and track at the University of Minnesota, where he was a four year letterwinner and captain of the cross country team in 1990. His highest finish was a third place in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Big 10 championships in 1991. At Austin High School, Harder won the 3200 at the Class AA state meet in 1986.
-Coach Harder teaches U. S. history at Rosemount High School. He lives in Rosemount with his wife and two sons.

Brian Fendrich
-Brian Fendrich is in his 11th season (2010) as assistant coach of the Irish cross country program. He assists with the boys distance runners in the spring and coaches the math team in the winter.
-Fendrich competed in cross country and track at South Dakota State University, where he competed successfully for the Jackrabbits. After college, he ran a personal best 2:21.51 at the 1983 Grandma’s Marathon, one of the top times ever for a South Dakota native. At Sioux Falls Lincoln High School, Fendrich was part of state championship teams and his relay still holds the state 4xmile record.
-Coach Fendrich teaches math at Rosemount High School. He lives in Apple Valley (Rosemount boundary) with his wife and two daughters.

Charlie Lorch
-Charlie Lorch is in his 6th season (2010) as volunteer coach of the Irish cross country program after he moved from California. He is a full time road racer in the spring with Lundgren Ford Racing master’s team.
-Lorch served the United States for 23 years in the Air Force. He completed many training runs in different countries around the world during his various deployments. He recently finished Grandma’s Marathon in 2:50 in 2008.
-Coach Lorch is a para-professional at Rosemount High School. He lives in Eagan with his wife and two kids. He has a daughter who competes in cross country and track for Georgetown University. His son will attend Rosemount Middle School this year. |

Sara Hatleli
-Sara Hatleli is in her fourth season (2010) as assistant coach of the Irish cross country program. She is the head girls track coach in the spring. In her fifth season, the Irish placed second in the Lake conference championships and capped their season with a top 10 finish at the MSHSL state meet.
-Hatleli competed in soccer at Mankato State University (now Minnesota State, Mankato), where she was a key member of the Mavericks founding of women’s soccer. A Rosemount High School alum, Hatleli was a captain and one of the top middle distance runners in the Lake Conference.
-Coach Hatleli teaches math at Rosemount High School. She lives in Rosemount with her husband and daughter. |

John Maresh
-John Maresh is in his 5th season (2010) as assistant coach of the Irish cross country program. He was an assistant coach last spring for both the girls and boys track team, working primarily with the long sprinters. The Irish boys finished second in the State True Team AAA championship in 2010. The girls team capped a strong spring with a top 10 MSHSL state meet finish. The girls set school records in both the 4x800 and 4x400 relays.
-Maresh competed in cross country and track at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where he was an integral part of their cross country and track teams. As a senior in 2005, he was the top miler for the Blue Devils. Maresh continues to compete on the team circuit for Collegeville. He attended high school at Bloomington Kennedy.
-Coach Maresh teaches Industrial Technology at Rosemount High School. He lives in Dundas.
